URGENT: doc.responses does not seem to work with Don't support specialized response hierarchy enabled.
Tim McNamara 21.Feb.00 01:32 AM a Web browser
- Category - Release 5

Last week I enabled the database advanced property of "Don't support specialized response hierarchy". This seems to have coincided with the NotesDocument responses property now returning 0 values despite my views clearly showing me they do have responses. In the help section under "Database properties that optimize database performance" it clearly states that "only the @functions @AllChildren and @AllDescendants... use this stored information".

I also enabled the "Don't maintain unread marks", "Document table bitmap optimization" and "Don't allow headline monitoring" properties at the same time, but for obvious reasons I am only suspecting the specialized response hierarchy property.

If this is the problem, will disabling this property automatically restore the links so that doc.responses will again see the response docs. Otherwise, how do I go about fixing the links because it is very important to us. The longer this problem occurs, the more responses get out of sync with parent docs which is unexceptable considering these dbs are used for order tracking. Please help.
