Thought I'd pass along some findings on the following error:
Notes log shows: AMgr: Agent <agent> in <dbname> did not process all documents successfully. Check the Agent Log for more information: Unable to find path to server.
This occured after we installed a second network adapter in the Notes server. Consequently, other workstations "ping"ing the server would get a response from the original interface, but a ping on the server would generate a response from the new interface. This happens because a process on the server (agent, dos prompt, ) trying to resolve the servername would get a response from the secondary adapter even though WINS was disabled, and DNS had only one entry for the servername with the address of the first adapter.
The article Q164023 in the Microsoft support database talks about a bug in NT 4.0 (fixed by SP4) that causes NT to return IP addresses in an order that does not match the binding order displayed in Control panel.
Upgrading to SP4 fixed the problem for us.
