I have a problem that I haven't been able to resolve and need some help.

I am getting a view collection with getallentriesbykey off of an imput form. By situation is this:
There is a from date field and to date field I want to pull the dates from this range as a key. I can get the key all set up but it returns nothing from the view. The first sorted column on the view is pulling a date field from another form which is only one part of the daterange. Example would be the daterange is 5/1/2011 - 6/30/2011 the view only shows one value in the first sorted column like 5/4/2011 how can I get this daterange into my key so I can pull the whole range?
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
