My frustration is beyond belief.
I have a Notes Web based application that include a button which when clicked, evokes an @MailSend function that sends email to the address identified in the parameters of @MailSend. When clicked in the browser it works fine!, the mail gets there..............most of the time.
Every couple of weeks or so, it suddenly stops working, the mail is not sent, and there are no messages in the log. However, if I click the button using the Notes client, the mail works. I also noticed that the other mail routing at this time is working fine. For example, if I use my Notes client to send an email to an internet address, it gets there. If someone sends me an email from their internet address to my Notes mailbox, it also gets there. So it's only when an @MailSend is used from within an application, that it fails.
If I reboot the server, and not just the Notes server but the operating system as well, it starts working again and will be OK for a couple of weeks. Notes server is 5.0.8 and the operating system is LINUX. I have searched this forum tediously to find an answer to no avail.
