We have two 5.0.9a servers (one on Win NT and the other on AS400) which handle our internal mail routing. We have another server dedicated to SMTP running 5.0.13a on Win2003.
When sending SMTP mail to certain sites the timestamp is being lost. The receivers get missing timestamps, or timestamps in UT, not the local timezone (+10). It appears to be mostly Outlook/Exchange users having problems. We have seen this problem since about mid August.
In testing I have found that emails sent using a 5 client have the problem but if a 6.5 client is used, the problem is fixed.
If anyone could offer any ideas or suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated
