Notes/Domino 4 and 5 Forum

I have searched the posts and can't seem to find anything on my issue.

I have a view with a column of data. What I need to do is display in field1 on a form the value of the item listed first in the view. In field2 on the same form display the value of the item listed second in the same view and field3 etc. I have tried @subset, @text, @word mixed with @dbcolumn and I can't get the second item's value listed in the view to display in field2.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I think I have racked my brain to long on this and the solution is staring me in the face.
