We have Lotus Notes Database hosting Public Newsgroups. We pull all the news items from a Microsoft MCIS NNTP server into Lotus Notes Database and expose them through webserver to outside for Browser based interface.
Due to some corruption, we have to recreate one of the Lotus Notes Database which hosts a Newsgroup. But after recreation, it only shows news message items from that day onwards. How do we pull all the previous news message items from NNTP server into this Lotus Notes DB ?
I am looking for some "tell nntp " command to pull all news items.
Any help will be appreciated.
I know we can pull all message items by doing tell nntp reset servername and putting the ini parameter NNTP_Initial_Feed_All. But won't it pull messages for all newsgroups ? We have 200+ newsgroups with 5 years of posting. I need to way to pull messages from just one newsgroup ???
