Notes/Domino 4 and 5 Forum

Hi,
I have this strange problem that I have noticed both with Notes Client and Domino Web. I have a rich text field that takes up an attachment when the form is being filled up. That attachment is visible for a few days but all of a sudden those attachments stop appearing in the documents. I have made sure that no code/person updates or deletes those attachments. Moreover when I open these documents it shows the window title as "document name...truncated". If somebody could guide me as to where does Notes digest all these attachments without any reason.
