Notes/Domino 4 and 5 Forum

Hi,

I am currently running Lotus Notes with X400 references for incoming and outgoing mail and also SMTP outgoing for any internet traffic. Incoming mail (and SMTP outgoing) is via an exchange server which maps the incoming SMTP to the X400 address then onto lotus notes (Custom recipients in exchange).

I am tasked to remove X400 as the exchange is migrating to 2003.

Question: Is it possible to remove the X400 backbone and just run outgoing and incoming mail on SMTP only ? If so, how can I do this ?
