Notes/Domino 4 and 5 Forum

I have been using Domino to run servers for several years and decided to try and port my website into Domino. To learn how to design web sites in Domino I tried the waterworks tutorial. For some reason the view does not display properly in a Netscape browser on an Apple. If I switch to HTML instead of the applet I get all the data but no formatting whatsoever. In HTML do I have to provide the HTML to format or should designer be providing this?
another problem is that when I close the contact form in the notes client the application quits instead of returning to the "sales" frameset.
