Hi,

can someone please help with my problem below:

If i want a field on form A (the response)to be inherited by a field on form B (the parent). How do i do this on documents that already exist..as i know that the "Formulas inherit values from selected documents" property works when creating new documents..but i cant get my head round how values are inherited when you change a value on an existing document..does inheritance work only in the direction of parent to response or can it work the other way..DO i need to be using something in the querysave event.

Can someone please provide me with some hints or code (in formula/lotusscript).
