Notes/Domino 4 and 5 Forum

Lotus 4.6.7
IMAP enabled.
I have never used lotus/ notes before so please bear with my newbieness.

I want to extract all mail files out to a proprietary mail systems which is IMAP compliant and wish to test this by getting access toa test mailbox via outlook.

The lotus config here is very flaky so rather do all .nsf files at once I have done one using on the console:

load convert -m <path.nsf> * mail46.ntf

on a test mailbox.

It appears to run OK. I go into outlook and
create the IMAP account and enter the notes username (firstletter-surmname) and notes password. Outlook repeatedly asks me to re-enter the password - so something is wrong. The lotus console identifies my IMAP connection, gives me some obscure error message

Suffice to say it doesn't work and my limited knowledge of notes means I am stuck...

Any suggestions gratefully appreciated.
