Notes/Domino 4 and 5 Forum

I have been encountering a problem with a few users of a web based notes database I have developed. Most users don't get this problem, however a few do.

When users in this database try to open attachments in this database, they are prompted for their login id and password again (they have already logged in). Even when they reenter their id and password it won't be accepted. The attachment opens the relevant application ok (for example excel or Word) but then the password prompt appears.

Any ideas on what could be causing this?
