Notes/Domino 4 and 5 Forum

Hi

i have a subform with the following fields

StaffAddRemove - Computed field

StaffName - Computed field

StaffRole - Computed field

StaffDivision - Computed field

Next to the Staff Name field i have a hotspot, which when clicked on brings up the address book dialog box, so that
users can select a person to place in the StaffName field. What i am getting stuck on is that when you select a person and OK
the address book dialog box...the value returned in the computed StaffName field could be:

Nadeem Shaikh/WestMidlands/NPS or
Bob Smith/Surrey/NPS or
Chris Law/Manchester/NPS

BUT I WANT SOME SORT OF VALIDATION TO ENSURE THE FIELD VALUE IN STAFFNAME CONTAINS "WestMidlands/NPS"..BUT I CANNOT FIGURE OUT
WHERE THIS VALIDATION GOES...COMPUTED FIELDS DONT GIVE YOU THE INPUT VALIDATION OPTION...DO I NEED TO PUT IT IN THE HOTSPOT BUTTON
USING @SUCCESS AND @FAILURE....OR SOMEWHERE ELSE


Can someone please advise me in the right direction
