OK, I have searched and searched these forums and cannot find a solution.
I have an existing app that uses the typical hidden history, input, and history fields to maintain a log of things going on.
I have started having more cases of that final history field going over 64k.
Does anyone have a solution for handling this?
I had thought that I could do an event in the querysave, do uidoc.refresh/reload to catch the calculated value of that last history field but it doesn't work.
Any thoughts/Ideas on this? I am in a position where I could redesign the whole way this history function works...would some sort of script for everything be better?
How do you handle this?
I am stuck on 4.6x for now, but will be moving to 6 soon...anything better in there for doing this sort of task (that seems like it should have it own class???).
Thanks!
