SDK provides the capability of diverting all network traffic being generated from its network layer to a proxy application. It allows the developer to configure whether all the traffic should be redirected to proxy application or only the traffic from a specific endpoint. Find below the instructions for enabling this redirection
Scenario 1 : If you wish to enable redirecting traffic to a proxy application for one specific endpoint, add the below managed property to definition of endpoint in managed-beans.xml
<value>Proxy IP:Proxy Port</value>
An example with ip and port is provided below
Scenario 2 : If you wish to enable redirecting traffic to proxy application for all endpoints, just add one entry in sbt.properties file.
In case the user has defined proxy information at both places ( endpoint and sbt.properties ), the one specified in endpoint takes precedence.
Some popular debugging proxy applications are Fiddler and WireShark. Sharing saved sessions from eg Fiddler logs with SDK team for reporting issues like not getting proper data or other network related issues would expedite the investigation and resolution of issue. This could also be used as an internal tool in various situations like monitoring response time of various network calls from server etc.
