You can use the Tomcat server that is distributed with the SDK, or you can use your own installation of Tomcat, WebSphere® Application Server, Portal, or Domino®.
The quickest way to get started is to use the Tomcat server that is included in the SDK. The SDK Tomcat server is configured to use the Connections QuickStart Image image.

If you are not using the QuickStart Image, you must modify managed-beans.xml so that you can connect to one of your own systems. For more information, see Connecting to other systems.
