Creating community wikis

To create a community wiki, send a POST request to the remote applications feed of the community to which you want to add the wiki.

Before you begin

You cannot add a wiki to a community programmatically until the Wikis widget has been added to the community using the Customize menu option in the product user interface. It is not until the widget is explicitly added that the service document resource for wikis is available from the remote applications feed.

Method URI Description
POST /wikis/{auth}/api/community/{communityUuid}/introspection Value of the href attribute in the <link> element that has the following rel attribute value: rel="" for the entry with the Wikis category in the remote applications Atom document of the community to which you want to add the wiki.

Name Type Optional Description
string No The UUID of the community you wish to add the wiki to.
enumerated No The authorization protocol being used by your application to access Connections Cloud.
Authorized values:

Name Type Optional Description
enumerated No The authentication mechanism selected by your application to access the API.
Basic is the Base64 encoding of the IBM Connections Cloud username and password: Base64(username:password). For example, Base64(
Bearer is the oauth 2.0 access token that is generated when the user grants your application access to IBM Connections Cloud services.

Code Description
Indicates that the wiki was successfully created. If an error occurs, this header contains one of the error codes.
