Get the featured posts feed to find the blog posts that have had the most activity across all of the blogs hosted by the Blogs application within the past two weeks.

Usage notes

The following resources are available from the featured posts feed:

  • A current copy of this Atom feed document (self link).
  • An HTML representation of this feed (alternate link).
  • List of available reports and issue categories for flagging inappropriate content (reports and issues links).

The following resources are available from the individual entries in the featured posts feed:

  • Blog post comments feed (replies link).
  • Report inappropriate content to administrator link (reports link in post entries).
  • Recommendations feed (recommendations link).
  • Recommendations collection.
  • Entry comments collection.

Request parameters

You cannot provide input parameters to narrow down the content that is returned in the feed; the server calculates which blog postings are featured based on recent activity.

If done properly, you will create an Atom feed document containing the blog post entries. The maximum number of posts returned is five.

All elements are in the namespace.
