A list of events generated from the Home page application.
Homepage Events




Event data is provided using the following conventions. Refer to the IBM_Connections_4.5_Event_SPI_ic50Create New Article for details about these event data objects, how to retrieve them from the event object, and how to get additional information from these objects themselves.
  1. Note: All Homepage events in the following table have these common event data:
    • actor: Who performed the action
    • eventSource: HOMEPAGE
    • scope: PUBLIC
    • container:
      • containerID:
      • containName:
  2. Note:
    • The Event Data column lists all the properties in the event properties object. Where you see empty fields in the column, this means that there is no additional event data other than the common event data described in Note 1 above.

  • widgetName = Name of the widget
  • settings = String containing the new widget settings
Triggered when a user edits the preferences for a widget

  • id = ID of the widget
  • title = Title of the widget
  • description = Description of the widget
  • url = URL of the widget descriptor
  • secureUrl = Secure version of the descriptor
  • iconUrl = URL of the widget icon
  • secureIconUrl = Secure version of the widget icon
  • useConnectionsTags = True/False if widget uses HP-specific tags in the descriptor
  • cacheDescriptor = True/False if the widget descriptor can be cached
  • displayOnWidgetTab = True/False if the widget should be displayed on the Widgets tab
  • displayOnUpdatesTab = True/False if the widget should be displayed on the Updates tab
  • openByDefault = True/False if the widget is open by default for a new user
  • multipleWidgets = True/False if users can open multiple copies of the widget
  • prereqs = Comma-separated list of Lotus Connections features required for the widget to be enabled
  • enabled = True/False if the widget is currently enabled
