IBM Connections Cloud hands out the following two OAuth credentials for the application:
- Consumer key
- Consumer secret
The consumer key and consumer secret combination is unique per application and should not be shared with others.
During the registration process, Connections Cloud creates a user account for the application owner to provide special privileges. Using the new account, the application owner can log in to Connections Cloud and perform operations related to credential management, such as getting the credentials, recreating the credentials, and more. Typical Connections Cloud accounts do not have the same privileges as those of application owners.
