Q. Survey results that are submitted from an existing form are no longer viewable. When the View Survey Results button is selected the following error is displayed. "The form you are trying to open is not available or shared with you". When the Download Survey Data button is selected the following error is displayed. "An error occurred processing your request".
Results for this survey form were working correctly previously, what is causing the errors?
A. The errors will occur if the survey results file for the specific survey has been deleted from the File service. When survey data is first submitted for a survey, a new Survey Results file is created automatically to store/display results. If the file is deleted in the File service, the survey results can not be stored/displayed correctly. Unfortunately once the file for the specific survey is deleted, it can not be recreated.
The problem is under investigation. To work around the problem the survey should be recreated so that any new submissions will create a new survey results file. Tip: When creating new survey forms, create them as a survey template to easily reuse and edit your forms for future usage.
