Notes), the exercises in this section will prepare you to enable it for your company and configure your clients to use it. These exercises complement the
IBM SmartCloud Notes documentation.

Lesson 1: Deploying IBM SmartCloud Notes in a Hybrid Environment.
Objectives
These exercises will provide you with the ability to:
- Use the IBM SmartCloud Administration panel to enable the IBM SmartCloud instant messaging community for your company.
- Add the Lotus® Sametime® feature to an existing Lotus Notes installation.
- Configure the IBM SmartCloud instant messaging community in the Lotus Notes client sidebar.
- Enable and locate instant messaging embedded in the SmartCloud Notes browser interface.
