Question: Can a SmartCloud Meeting be scheduled in advance?
Answer: Yes. The ad hoc nature of SmartCloud Meetings means a meeting can be set up on demand. As the moderator of the meeting, you have complete control of starting and stopping a meeting as needed; you can also invite anyone you wish to attend the meeting.
With this flexibility, if you as meeting moderator wish to schedule a meeting in advance with a group of participants, you simply
- send an e-mail or calendar invitation from your mail client
- include the meeting URL and your meeting ID, along with the date and time for the meeting, in the e-mail or invitation text
example Meetings URL link: https://apps.na.collabserv.com/meetings/join?id=xxxx-xxxx, where xxx-xxx is the moderator's meeting ID
Start the meeting a few minutes before the designated meeting time, so participants can join the online meeting using the URL previously provided.
