Can the web browser that is embedded in the 8.x versions of the Notes client be used with the SmartCloud Engage services?
The embedded browser has not officially been tested and not on the supported list of browsers
at this time. Customers have reported success in using several features of the service, but problems may be seen. If your operating systems default browser is on the supported browser list, the Notes client preferences can be easily modified to utilize that browser:
1. From the Notes client select File, Preferences
2. In the Web Browser section select "Use the browser I have set as the default for this operating system"
3. Select OK
