You can update the email address that a person uses to login to SmartCloud Engage.
Go to Settings > Company Account and look for User Accounts. Search for the user whose email address you want to change and click their name to edit their account. Next to the email address field, click the "change" link. A new field will display where you can enter a new email address for the user. Enter the new email address, and save the changes to the user's account.
The user will receive notifications that are sent to both the current email address and new email address. Before the email change is committed, the user must confirm the change by accessing the confirmation page and authenticating. The confirmation page can only be accessed from a link provided in the notification that is sent to the new email address.
In addition to confirming the change, the user can also deny the change or resend the confirmation email. The user will be prompted with these options after authenticating while the email change is pending.
Note: This option is currently not supported for users whose login ID is the email address from a SmartCloud Engage mail account.
When a user has a collaboration subscription first, and is later provisioned with a mail subscription, his or her login ID will still be the original email address that was entered when the account was created. You can use this feature to change the user's login ID to be the email address from his or her SmartCloud Engage mail account. When you change a user's email address to be the email address from a SmartCloud Engage mail account, the user's account will also update to show fields for resetting the user's password in the case that the user forgets his or her password.
