Re: Creating an IBM SmartCloud Traveler for Notes policy settings document

I see that I misinterpreted the meaning of the word "enforce" in my previous comment. I thought it meant that the use of Device Passwords was enforced in IBM's organization policy. If true, it means that any settings in a lower level explicit policy that contradicted the enforced setting would be ignored. I see now, however, that "enforce" as used here and in the document cited in my previous comment is a value that is chosen by default in IBM's Violation Action field.

Re: Creating an IBM SmartCloud Traveler for Notes policy settings document

This article fails to state (or I missed the statement) that certain of the default policy settings are enforced in IBM's organization policy and that, therefore, changes that one makes in an explicit policy to those fields won't have the desired effect. Example: Require Device Password is enabled by default and that setting is enforced by IBM's policy document. Therefore, although you can set the field to disabled, your change won't have any effect. The enforced Traveler policy settings can be found here: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSPS94/hybrid/topics/pln_traveler_settings.dita
