Overview
The company administrator has the ability to change the user's mail template in the
IBM SmartCloud™
Notes (SmartCloud
Notes) Administration panel. In this exercise, you will learn how to change a user's mail template.
Important: Even though the mail template can be changed while the user is logged into the system, these steps should be performed when the user is offline to prevent a temporary performance degradation.

Procedure
- Log on to the service using the e-mail address and password of a SmartCloud Notes user with the Administrator role.

- If your user account also has the User role, click Administration -> Manage Organization on the action bar at the top. Otherwise, skip to the next step.

- From the left navigation pane, click Lotus Notes

- Click Users.

- The list of SmartCloud Notes Users for your company displays. Select the box next to the name of each user whose template you would like to change.

- Click Apply Mail Template.

- Click Select next to the name of the template that you would like to use.

Note: You may need to look on subsequent pages to locate the template that matches the Notes 8.5.x version you are currently using.
- Note that the template you selected is now in bold.

- Click Apply Mail Template.

- When you are prompted to confirm the change, click Confirm

- Click Continue .

Troubleshooting
