How do I change my email address that is used as SmartCloud for Social Business login ID?

In order to change the email address, you will need to contact your system Administrator and provide the new email address to him. Please make sure you have a password to access the old and new email accounts. SmartCloud service will send important emails to both email account and you will need to access them in order to complete the change process.

Once your Administrator adds the new email address to your account, the service will send an email to your old email account notifying you that your login email address has been changed. You will need to confirm the change. Once you do that, you will receive another email in your new email account informing you of the change. You will need to confirm this as well. Once you complete this, your login ID will change to the new email address.

For Example. A user's login email address is ufour@mailinator.com, but he wants to change it to ufive@mailintator.com. So he will inform his Administrator and the Administrator will add ufive@mailintator.com to his account. Then he will receive the following email in his ufour@mailinator.com email:

Hi User Four,

The e-mail address used as your login ID has been changed by your administrator to:

ufive@mailinator.com

This change will not take affect until you confirm the new email address.. Check the inbox associated with the new email address for a confirmation email.

If you did not receive the confirmation email, then you can resend it. Or if you do not want to change your email address, you can deny the change.

Click here to resend the confirmation email or deny the change.

If clicking the link does not work, then copy the following URL to your Web browser:

https://apps.lotuslive.com/manage/account/emailChangeConfirmation/input?resend=true&token=vaSSbr1OAC0OpxO4FHpOERczQdU%40&locale=en_US

This email was generated automatically. Do not reply.

The user will click on the link to accept the change, and then click on continue. He will see the following message:

Upon seeing the above message the user will log into ufive@mailinator.com and he will see the following email from Lotus Live:

The e-mail address used as your LotusLive login ID has been changed by your administrator to:

ufive@mailinator.com

This change will not take affect until you confirm the new email address..

Click here to confirm or deny this email address.

If clicking the link does not work, then copy the following URL to your Web browser:

https://apps.lotuslive.com/manage/account/emailChangeConfirmation/input?token=qKs-9rcyidvclKnxdnNKRm7CS80%40&locale=en_US

This email was generated automatically. Do not reply.

At this point user has changed his login email address. He will click on the link to confirm the change and he will see the following message:

Your e-mail address has been changed

The e-mail address used as your login ID has been changed by your administrator to:

ufive@mailinator.com

Use this e-mail address the next time you login.

Continue to LotusLive

At this point, if ufour@mailinator.com is used to log in, it will fail. But the new email address ufive@mailinator.com will work.
