Question: When attempting to Sign In to SmartCloud Social Business services, if the password for the account username is entered incorrectly repeatedly a message is displayed saying the account has been temporarily locked. Why did this occur and how long is the account locked?
Answer: As a security measure after 10 unsuccessful login attempts to the same account, the system will lock the account for 3 minutes to discourage further attempts. The customer can attempt to sign into the account after 3 minutes. If the password has been forgotten the customer can request a password reset from the sign on screen.
