To start using ProjExec Live, all you need is:
A SmartCloud Engage or SmartCloud Connections account.

To start using ProjExec Live:
If you're not a SmartCloud Engage or SmartCloud Connections subscriber, sign up for a 60-day SmartCloud Engage trial account, login and access ProjExec Live from the Apps menu on the top navigation bar.
If you're an existing SmartCloud Engage or SmartCloud Connections subscriber, make sure to ask your administrator to enable access to the ProjExec Live integrated app. If you don't know who your administrator is, you can find this information by going to My Account Settings and clicking on the link Contact Account Administrator.

ProjExec Enterprise includes all of ProjExec Live’s complete professional social project management and collaboration capabilities, but adds the following additional powerful project management functionality:
1. To create your first project in ProjExec, simply click on “Create a New Project”. You will be presented with the new project dialog box..
2. Select “Blank project” to create a new project (or MS Project to import an existing schedule).
You must provide the following:
- Project name and description,
- Client name (will be automatically completed if it already exists): can be a customer name, a department name, or any entity
- Start date (for a blank project)
You can create a SmartCloud Community or link the project to an existing community to store project files.
You can add resources to your project: if these resources already exist in your organization or contact list, simply type the first letters and they will appear.
Using a Gantt Chart:
When you arrive on the Social Gantt editor: simply start typing in the table cells to create tasks and enter values. Get familiar with the toolbar icons by hovering your mouse to see tooltips. You can also view the video tutorial

The Project Wall
When you go back to the home page, you will now see the project wall. As your project progresses, it will contain important events that occur (like project creation or task progress update) as well as any message that any team member wishes to post, streamlining collaboration and knowledge sharing.
