What are the details for installing the LotusLive Meeting Plug-in for the Sametime client (7.5x and above) and Lotus Notes client (8.01 and above)?
Answer:
Lotus Notes 8.0.1+:
1.) Enable the My Widgets sidebar, if not available, via Preferences->Widgets->Show Widget Toolbar...
2.) Open/Expand the My Widgets sidebar
3.) Drag either (but not both) the LotusLive Engage or LotusLive Meetings icon below into the My Widgets sidebar to initiate plug-in installation.

Alternatively, Right-click and SaveAs the XML file to deploy these widgets later or drag from the file system into the My Widgets sidebar.
4. You will now see the following in the Widgets sidebar:
5. If you are prompted to cross certify with www.lotuslive.com, please click on "Cross Certify"
6. Then you will see a prompt to restart Lotus Notes:
7. After you restart your Notes client you will see the following additional side bar. In order to host or join a meeting you will need to allow to run active content.
Lotus Sametime 7.5.1+ (standalone):
1) To install the plugin from the Sametime client (7.5x and above) go to Tools -> Plugins-> Install Plugins
2) Once you open the Installation window, you will be then prompted to search for updates or install new features:
Choose to "Search for new features to install" and click "Next".
3) The next step is the to provide the remote location where the plugin resides.
On the "Install" window, click on "Add Remote Location"
The you will be prompted for the name and the URL of the new location:
Add the following values:
Name: LotusLive Meeting Plugin
URL:
-For LotusLive Meeting customers, the remote URL should be
http://www.conferenceservers.com/brands/SBS/LLMEETING_EN-US
-For LotusLive Engage customers, the remote URL should be
http://www.conferenceservers.com/brands/SBS/LLENGAGE_EN-US
Then click OK and on the Install window select the entry just created and click "Next".
The location is then explored and a search result window is displayed.
4) Check the "LotusLive Meetings Plug-In for Notes/Sametime" boxes and click on "Next".
Then follow all the steps, accept the license and install the plugin.
At the end of the process you will be asked to restart Notes or Sametime, do it and after restarting it you should see the plugin available in the client toolbar.
5) Complete the setup by adding your Meeting ID in the Meetings Preferences of the plugin.

After restarting Sametime client, it will now have a new Panel and will appear as in the following screen-shot:
If you click on "Click here to set your meeting preferences", then you can specify the appropriate Meeting ID.

After providing the appropriate Meeting ID you may now Host a meeting launched from the plugin.
It is also possible to right-click on a Sametime contact and select the "Invite to a Meeting" option.
