The Previous and Next navigation buttons in the meeting toolbar do not recognize page breaks that have been inserted in .DOC and .ODT file types when publishing the file in the meeting. Are other navigation options available for these file types when published in the meeting?
Page breaks are not recognized when publishing a file in a meeting for word processing files (.DOC and .ODT). When the file is published for viewing in the meeting the Next and Previous
buttons do not correspond to any inserted page breaks in the document. In this case the Next and Previous toolbar buttons will be based on the document outline and page length.
One option to consider for longer (.DOC and .ODT) files that will be published for viewing in a meeting, is to create a table of contents (TOC) in the file prior to publishing. The chapters or headings
of the TOC will be recognized after publishing. If the TOC uses links for the chapters or headings those links can be clicked for navigation after publishing. They will also be recognized with the
Next and Previous buttons.
