Activities

While attempting to save an entry with a tag over 64 characters in Activities, you receive an error message "We have encountered a problem" also known as browser error 500

Workaround
Keep Activity entry tags at 64 characters or less

Carriage returns in activity goals and notification messages are not rendered in email (47417)

When a user is notified about an Activity or entry, carriage returns in activity goal and notification message are not rendered.

Workaround
None.

Downloading a file from Activities that contains more than 50 bytes of Unicode characters in the file name loses some characters (50078)

This issue applies only to Internet Explorer 6 and 7. If a file contains more than 50 bytes of Unicode characters, or certain characters such as spaces (approximately 15-25 non-latin characters), Internet Explorer will only use the last 50 bytes of the file name. This results in a file name with missing characters from the beginning, and in some cases garbled characters in the beginning such as "%3E".

Workaround
When using Internet Explorer 6 or 7, shorten the file name to be smaller than the limit imposed by the browser.

Exporting an activity adds "" to beginning of CSV file (54419)

Exporting an activity to a CSV file adds the Byte Order Marker to the beginning of the file to allow some versions of Excel to open the file properly.

Workaround
Delete the Byte Order Marker from the cell or use the Text Importation wizard in Excel.

In long activity goals, blank lines and line feeds are not shown correctly (52556)

In Internet Explorer, if you click "...more" in an activity goal of over 4000 characters, the line breaks are not rendered, so you lose all the white space in the goal.

Workaround
None.

Some file names in Microsoft Word (.doc) files do not render correctly in activities when you use Internet Explorer 6 and 7 (50005)

Attach a Microsoft Word (.doc) file with a double byte character set (DBCS) name to an activity entry. Save the activity and then download the file. The file name that displays does not render correctly and is unreadable in activities.

This only occurs in Internet Explorer 6 and 7 (Internet Explorer 6 seems to have a slightly larger buffer). It does not occur in Internet Explorer 8 or higher.

Workaround
None.

Japanese characters are broken when you export activities as CSV files into Microsoft Excel(52548)

In some cases when you use the Export Activity feature, the resulting CSV file does not properly render Japanese characters in Microsoft Excel.

Workaround
Import the text using the Microsoft Excel built-in Text Importation wizard.

Icons do not match in Activities and Communities (42263)

The icons in Communities do not match the icons in Activities. The Communities icons are documented, however, there is no documentation for the Activities icons.

Workaround
None.

Long description in activity entries and goals cannot be exported to CSV file (SPR #SYEE8E9VQ9)

If an activity entry or goal has more than 2K of data, only the first 2K of text can be exported to the CSV file using the Export Activity feature.

Workaround
None.

Notification emails for Activity updates no longer include salutations (25939)

Notification emails for Activity updates no longer include the salutation at the top of the email.

Workaround
None.

Very long field titles in Activities crash the browser (31710)

Titles on activities and activity entries are limited to 2K of data. This is equivalent to 2048 ASCII characters. The number of characters in other languages will depend on the UTF-8 encoding of the Unicode characters. See the following technote for more information:
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=0&context=SSCYJJE&q1=title&uid=swg21396874&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&lang=

Workaround
Do not create activities or activity entries with more than 2K of text.

Use full search option is not available when member is not found in type-ahead (SPR#SYEE8EERP6)

The Activities tool tip for adding new members suggests that if the name you want is not displayed, click Use full search to search for it.

This is not correct. The option is not available.

Workaround
Check the name or email address of the user and try again.

Guest Users: Not all guest users receive the [New Activity] notification after being added to the Activity (59207)

Adding one or more guest users (users who have not been provisioned with Connections before) to an Activity. Go through the Invite LotusLive Guest process & Send the invite. Check the guest users email and there is no [New Activity] notification to let the user know they have been added to an Activity.

Workaround
None.

Browse Groups dialog box - select a nested group to add by walking down tree, the group name displays as "undefined" (59533)

Either from the Start an Activity form or from the Add New Members dialog click the member type drop-down and select Groups and click on the Browse Groups link. Enter a group name & click on Find Groups. From the list of results returned select a group that contains a nested group. Select the nested group and click the Add button. You are then returned to the Start an Activity form or Add New Members dialog, but the group name displays as "undefined". When the Activity is Saved, the correct group name displays in the Members widget.

Workaround
There are 2 workarounds for this issue:
1) When using the Browse Groups link further refine the input string so that the name of the nested group appears in the results list so you don't need to walk down the tree of nested groups.
2) Instead of using the Browse Groups link enter the name of the nested group in the members input field and type-ahead should display the group name.

Administration

The "Display Challenge questions to users to confirm identity" option does not work (57733)

Setting the Password Reset Method to "Display Challenge questions to users to confirm identity" does not change the password reset method for users. The setting is accepted however the default password reset method using email to confirm identify is still used.

Workaround
None

Admin is not able to Edit a User(62208)

If the Admin has not yet setup a mail domain (Notes or iNotes) it is not possible to edit and save existing users.

Workaround
Admin needs to configure the mail domain then users can be edited and saved correctly.

Browser exception error displays when the company administrator attempts to add a new user but leaves the email field empty (62028)

This issue occurs when a new user does not enter any value for the email field under account identity and passes by it either by using the tab key or mouse. As a result, there an error occurs on the Add User page along with a stack trace.

Workaround
Be sure to enter a valid email address in the email field before moving to the next filed.

===The LotusLive integration server documentation may indicate that when no language is specified in a provisioing change file, the default langiuage used is English. In fact, the default langiage used is the company contact language. An administrator specifies the company contact language in LotusLive on their My Account Settings page using the Localization and Language options.

===The following LotusLive enterprise integration time zones were added or updated after the help was published:

Pacific/Chuuk   (GMT+10:00) Chuuk Time
America/Curacao   (GMT-04:00)Atlantic Standard Time (Curacao)
Pacific/Pohnpei   (GMT+11:00)Ponape Time
Europe/Moscow (GMT+04:00)Moscow Standard Time

Charts

Charts documentation is missing information on some types of charts (41931 )

In the Types of charts section of the Charts documentation, the Scatterplot and Tag cloud charts appear twice and information about Line Graph, Bubble Chart, and Treemap charts is missing.

Workaround
None

Contacts

Panel help for importing contacts from Lotus Notes needs to be more specific (47846)

The following information is missing on the panel help for importing Lotus Notes contacts to LotusLive:
In Lotus Notes, click File->Export. Select where the file will be saved and type in a name for the file. If you are exporting contacts from Lotus Notes 8.5, select the option to export Only Basic Fields. In the Save As type field, select Comma Separated Value.

Zooming out in FireFox blurs business cards (35121)

In Firefox, if the zoom level is set to zoom out, viewing the business card of a LotusLive user might be blurred.
Workaround
Reset the zoom level of FireFox.

Cannot search for user profiles with special characters (52404)

If a special character, such as a parenthesis '(', is part of a user's name, a search that includes the special character might not return a result.

Workaround
search for the part of the user name that does not include the special character

Search function in Contacts is not accent insensitive (48498)

Search is accent-sensitive. Your search term must include accented characters if the name that you are looking for has accented characters.

Workaround
If the contact name contains an accent, the search term must include the accent.

Communities

Shared files reappear on reading the removed widget of the community (51291)

If you remove the Files widget from a community, the files and folders that appeared there will continue to be shared with that community. Removing the widget does not remove the shares. Therefore, if the widget is re-added to the community, then the same set of files and folders will reappear.

Workaround
None. This is working as designed.

Searching for a term within the title for many communities does not return all communities (54491)

Not all communities with the search term are returned. Only the communities that have the search term as a tag are returned. Search is designed to find community names based on an exact match or a wildcard query. The Development team does not have any plans to provide ngram search support yet

Workaround
Use wildcard characters in the search term for more complete result sets.

Community's upload image feature doesn't work using the keyboard instead of the button. (54647)

Start a community and click the "Upload a Community Image" link to get a "Browse..." dialog, then use the tab key to move the focus on it, press the Enter key to invoke it. It worked as the save function not as an upload function. The Community is saved without the uploading image. This is a third party software bug. The browser provides the file browse control support.

Workaround
The space bar can be used to invoke browsing.

Community name does not appear in the type-ahead list when you perform a search (48936)

If a community name begins with quotation marks or a back slash, the community name will not appear in the type-ahead list when performing a search.

Workaround
None

PNG files do not render correctly when used as a community image (36797, 52728)

If you upload a PNG file to use an image for a community, the image's colors may not render correctly.

Workaround
Do not use a PNG file for a community image. Converting the image to a JPG file should resolve the issue.

Search queries do not work correctly when using brackets [ ] (36624)

Search queries might not work correctly when you use the brackets reserved characters in a search: [ ]

For example, a search query that contains "My stuff [really important]" might not provide the expected results.

Workaround
If you use a reserved character in a search query and do not get expected results, try to use a different search query by removing the reserved characters.

The Description field in a community form has a limit length (53948)

When creating or editing a community, there is a 2048 byte limit associated with the Description field in the community form. This is not documented in help.

Workaround
Do not create a community description with more than 2048 bytes of data.

ALT text for images in browsers (58775)

Lotuslive online help uses the ALT property on images to display alternate text if the image does not exist, cannot be displayed, or cannot be downloaded to the browser.  The ALT property is also read by tools such as screen readers to aid accessibility.

Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox browsers treat the ALT property different ways.  Internet Explorer treats the ALT text as hover help.  Firefox does not treat the ALT text as hover help; Firefox only uses the text if the image is broken or if it is read by a screen reader

Workaround
None. This is working as designed.

Add and Invite Members text box moves across screen when greater than 65 characters are entered; only on Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Explorer 8 (57323)

When you are in the Community's Members page and click Add Members, or Invite Members, and then you enter a user name or group name over 65 characters in the name box the text box and whole line begins to move left across the page as you enter more characters. This is just a display issue, and the user/group are added correctly. This only occurs with Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Explorer 8 browsers. The problem does not occur with a Firefox browser.

Workaround

"Add all members from parent community" check box does not add additional members to a sub-community if membership list contains groups (59529)

If you have a sub-community that contains both people and groups, and if at some later point, the parent community has additional members added that you want to add to the sub-community's membership list, you would need to "Add Members" on the sub-community's Members page. On the Add Members page, there is a check box labeled "Add all members from parent community". If you select this check box, any people or groups who are members of the parent community should be added to the membership page of the sub-community. However, this is not happening correctly; the newly added members of the parent community are not being added to the sub-community. This issue only occurs, if the sub-community's membership page contains groups. If it only contains people, then the additional members are added correctly.

Workaround
On the Members page of the sub-community, when you click on Add Members, instead of selecting the check box "Add all members from parent community", add the additional members by typing their names into the input text box.

Browse Groups dialog box does not add the selected group, if it's a nested group obtained by walking down the tree (59533)

You attempt to add a group using the Browse Groups dialog box. If it is a nested group obtained by walking down the tree, it does not add the selected group.

Workaround
There are 2 workarounds for this issue:
- When using the Browse Groups link, refine your input string so that the name of the nested group appears in the results list, and you don't need to walk down the tree of nested groups.
- Instead of using the Browse Groups link, enter the name of the nested group in the Add Groups text box and it will be found with the type-ahead feature.

Community Overview tags type-ahead doesn't work correctly (YZZG8FPEJU)

When you open a Community to the Overview page and within the Tags widget, click "Find a tag", as you begin to enter the name of a tag, the type-ahead suggestions are the tags from the "My Communities" cloud and not the tags on the "Overview" cloud.

Workaround
Select a tag from the Tag cloud which is displayed on the Community's Overview page.

Display names display instead of email addresses (55487)

Files documentation contains incorrect information about wildcard characters (56933)

The following statement in the documentation is incorrect:
"Underscore (_)
Represents a single wildcard character in a string.
For example, a_t finds any name or email address in your contacts that has an A and T separated by another character, such as: Art, Astin, or test@aster.com

Percent sign (%)
Represents a variable number of wildcard characters between two desired characters
For example, a%t would find any name or email in your contacts that has an A and T separated by an unspecified number of characters, such as: Ashton, Allentown, tape@test.com"

An underscore and a percent sign cannot be used as wildcard characters. Please see the following website for a complete list of wildcard characters that you can use:

Files documentation missing information about file sharing (47846)

The documentation should contain the following information:

The "Shared with Me" button on the navigation is populated when another user shares a file with you or the user uploads a new version of a file shared with you.
It does not display files that were shared with you by a community or a company.

The "Recent Files" button is populated when you add a file to a folder, make a comment on a file, upload a file, upload a new version of a file, or download a file.

Files documentation missing information about file visibility (44458)

The Files documentation should contain the following information:

You can view files in the following circumstances:
- You own the file
- Another user has shared a file or a folder with you
- You are a member of a community with which another member shares a file or folder

You will not be able to view a file that is shared with a company, even if you are a member of the company, unless the user specifically shares the file with you.

File or folder still listed as shared with community after the community is deleted (38682)

Unable to access check boxes in the "Share Files with a Community" dialog box (38235)

If you set the text or font size of a browser to a setting that is larger than the default, you may be unable to access all of the check boxes in the Share Files with a Community dialog box, especially if a large number of files have been shared with the community.

This issue would occur, for example, in Microsoft Internet Explorer if you go to View > Text Size and pick any size larger than Medium. Also, in Mozilla FireFox, if you go to View > Zoom and zoom in beyond the default.  With these scenarios, and 13 or more files shared with the community, it is possible that you will not be able to see or select some of the files in order to stop sharing them.

This problem may be exacerbated if your screen resolution is low. For example, the issue will be more apparent if the screen resolution is lower than 1280 x 1024 as opposed to a higher-resolution display.

Workaround
In Internet Explorer, choose View > Text Size > Medium or in FireFox choose View > Zoom > Reset.  Depending on the screen resolution, you may also need to be sure that the browser window is maximized, especially if the resolution is as low as 1024 x 768.  If you set the font size in a way other than by using the View menu in the browser, then it also may be necessary for you to reset the font size to the defaults of the operating system.

The "Share Files with a Community" dialog box should display properly as long as the text size, zoom, and font are set to the defaults.

Unable to share file with a community (49325)

"Upload to folders" dialog box only allows the user to upload one file at a time (42356)

When attempting to upload multiple files, you are given the option to upload only a single file at a time. This occurs when one of the following circumstances is true:
- Adobe Flash is not installed.
- The browser you are using does not have a Flash plug-in.
- The Flash plug-in is installed but is not working.
- An unsupported version of Flash is installed.

Workaround
Check the version of Flash you have installed on your browser. For more information, see: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html.

The oldest version of Flash that is supported by LotusLive in order to provide multiple file upload capabilities is version 9.0.28. If you have version 9.0.28 or newer installed, and you are unable to upload multiple files, report the bug to your IBM customer support representative.

If you have version 9.0.28 or older installed, or if Flash is not installed correctly according to the following website http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html, install the latest version of Flash. For more information about installing the latest version of Flash, see http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/.

User entitlements additions or removals are not immediately reflected in the LotusLive user interface (56913)

The LotusLive user interface displays the services to which a user is entitled. If your company administrator adds or removes LotusLive services to your account while you are logged in, the user interface will not reflect those changes for a few minutes. The LotusLive user interface improves end user performance by limiting how often end user entitlements are checked. While the entitlement is immediately provided or revoked based on company administrator action, the current set of entitlements will continue to be displayed in the user interface until the next time LotusLive does an efficient entitlement check. If you navigate directly to a newly entitled service directly through a URL, you will be successful. If you try to navigate to a removed entitlement, you will be blocked because access checks are done immediately.

Workaround
Wait a few minutes and the user interface will reflect the changes.

LotusLive iNotes cannot use a Notes address to send an email message

When using LotusLive iNotes to send or receive email messages, traditional email addresses (for example, name@us.ibm.com) are used. Notes addresses (for example, Name/New York/IBM) are not used.

When you use Lotus Notes 8.x to export contacts in the .csv format, however the email address is stored (either Notes or email address) is how the email address is exported. When you use the .csv file to import these contacts into LotusLive iNotes, if the email address was stored in the .csv file, it is stored in the Email address field. However, if the Notes address was stored in the .csv file, it is stored in the Notes field. When sending emails in LotusLive iNotes, the email address specified in the Email address field is used. LotusLive iNotes cannot use a Notes address to send an email.

Workaround
Lotus Notes 8.5.x and later users should export contacts in the vCard (.vcf) format. No workaround is available for users of earlier versions of Lotus Notes.

Problem sending email messages with Opera 10.51

If you use Opera 10.51 to send email messages, when you click Send, one of two problems might occur:

1. The message is not sent and the Compose page continues to be displayed.
2. An error message is displayed. The message indicates that a problem has occurred and you need to save your work before continuing.

Workaround
Use a different version of the Opera browser. This problem has not been recreated with any of the other supported Opera browsers.

The date selection feature for Out-of-Office notification operates independently from your Weeks start with calendar preference setting

If you update your Weeks start with calendar preference setting to a value other than the default value, the changes are not reflected in the Out-of-Office mini calendar view. Use caution when selecting dates for Out-of-Office notification.

Selecting attributes for new email message text

When composing a new email message, enter all email message text and then select the desired attributes, for example, font size, color and bold. To format your message text, for example, with bullets or numbering, select the text you want to format and then select the desired formatting options. If you want to copy and paste text from Microsoft Word, select the desired attributes after pasting the text.

Emails might be truncated for some users

If you are using other software, such as Microsoft Word, to generate email content that you want to copy to a LotusLive iNotes email, make sure you do not specify a negative margin value for your email text. Specifying a negative margin value can result in the message text being truncated when you send the email message. In this case, the recipient of your email might not be able to view the entire email.

This can occur in the following environments:
- Windows XP
- Windows 7
- Internet Explorer 7
- Internet Explorer 8
- Firefox 3.x

Workaround
If you experience this issue, you can set up IMAP access to read the email using another email client, such as Outlook.

Cannot actually send an attachment of the stated maximum size

The maximum size for an email message that you send, including all attachments, is 30 MB. There is approximately 1.5 MB used for fields in the email other than the email text and attachments. Therefore, the maximum size of the email message text and all attachments is 28.5 MB.

Calendar

Date on calendar highlighted incorrectly when creating an event

While creating a new calendar event, if the operating system time zone is different from the time zone of the user who logs into LotusLive iNotes, the date highlighted on the calendar might be different from the date you selected for the event start date.

Workaround
None. Be aware of the date that is selected when creating an event.

Time zone differences between operating system and calendar functions

If the operating system time zone is different from the time zone of the user who logs on to LotusLive iNotes, when the LotusLive iNotes user goes to the calendar to create a new event, the date highlighted on the calendar might be different from the date selected when you select a start date for the event.

Scheduling and responding to repeating meeting invitations with Notes users

When you schedule a repeating meeting and include Notes users on your invitee list, responses from Notes users are reflected in your calendar, but the email notification you receive might not contain response details for all the meeting instances. When scheduling a repeating meeting, request a response from all invitees for all instances of the meeting. This ensures that you are up-to-date on attendance status for each instance of your meeting. If you receive an updated meeting invitation from a Notes user, the email notification you receive might not contain response details for all meeting instances, but you can respond to the updated invitation, even if you declined the original invitation.

Meeting dates might not be displayed in an updated meeting notice

If you schedule a repeating meeting and then remove an invitee from all instances of the repeating meeting, that invitee receives an updated meeting notice. In some cases, the meeting dates are not displayed. This can also occur if you cancel all instances of the repeating meeting.

In the following scenario the date displayed in the calendar event might be incorrect

The wrong date is displayed in calendar entries when all of the following conditions are met:
  • LotusLive iNotes is used to send a calendar entry to a Lotus Notes user.
  • The person who creates the calendar entry is using a computer where the operating system is referencing a different locale and date-time format than the person who receives the calendar entry.

Workaround
On the system where Lotus Notes is installed, change the operating system date-time format and locale to match the locale and date-time format on the LotusLive iNotes system. You can also work around the problem by comparing the date and time format on the invitation. If the start date occurs after the end date, the end date has been incorrectly identified. To resolve the problem, specify the correct end date.

Personal calendar naming convention

Your personal calendar is labeled either 'Personal Calendar' or with your user name, depending on when your account was set up. If your first name and last name cannot be retrieved, then the LOCAL PART of your email address is used instead of 'Personal Calendar'. You can edit the name and description of your personal calendar. If you delete the title of your personal calendar, the title reverts to 'No title'.

Contacts

The same item is recorded twice in corporate directory

If you have authorization to import corporate contacts, before you import corporate contacts, verify that your account administrator used the LotusLive iNotes import process to import existing corporate contacts. If your administrator used another import method, you might see duplicate entries when importing corporate contacts.

Displaying more than 3000 members returns a 504 timeout error

An administrative group cannot have more than 2000 members. When an administrator adds more than 2000 members, the system returns an error message to indicate that the limit has been exceeded.

Workaround
Create more than 1 administrative group with the same configuration when there is a need for having over 2000 members.

Other

Unexpected results can occur when using the Back button in your browser

Using the Back button in your browser can result in an unexpected error message being displayed. This can occur after certain delete or update operations.

Workaround:

Protection for your account

In order to protect your account against abuse, only 5000 new email messages can be received while you are not logged in to your account. Additional email messages will be returned to the sender until you log in to your account again.

Using Skype with LotusLive iNotes

If you have a Skype plug-in running while you are logged into LotusLive iNotes, the email address that displays when you reply to or create email messages might not be correct. Specifically, text such as 'begin_of_the_skype_highlighting' and 'end_of_the_skype_highlighting' might be displayed in the To:, cc:, or bcc: fields.

Workaround
Delete the extra characters in the To:, cc:, or bcc: fields that are not part of the email address.

One-time password behavior when accessing LotusLive iNotes non-web protocol

When your account administrator sets a one-time password for you, you must change that password after logging in to your iNotes account via Web Access. However, when you try to access IMAP, POP and SMTP on LotusLive iNotes, you can use this one-time password to log in over and over again and you are not forced to change it.

Dialing out to attendee using an international number does not work (46722)

If a participant enters an international phone number and country code starting with a plus sign (+) when joining a meeting (For example, +353 for a number in Ireland or +44 for a number in England), and if the host later right-clicks the participant's name in the roster and selects the "Dial Out" option, the phone number in the Dialing dialog will be missing the plus sign (+) that was originally entered by the participant at join time. Dialing out to the number does not work because the plus sign missing.

This known issue does not apply to participants who enter a North American phone number, for example, 1-888-123-4567, because the plus sign is not needed in Meetings.

Workaround
Perform one of the following workarounds:
- Participants can enter international dialing out prefixes, for example, 011, instead of using the plus sign (+).
- If the host recognizes that the phone number is an international number, they can add the plus sign (+) to the beginning of the number before dialing.

The following add-ons cause this behavior:
- Firefox Add-ons - Installed browser themes
- Java Development Kits or Java Deployment Kits
- Toolbars such as Yahoo Toolbar

Workaround

Issue with sharing applications that use Overlay windows (56576)

Applications that use overlay windows such as Avaya Communicator, and others, are not visible when shared on Windows XP. Overlay windows are created by specifying the WS_EX_OVERLAYED flag on window creation.
Transparent windows are generally created as overlay windows.

Workaround
Application sharing can be instructed to capture overlay windows by specifying the following registry entry (a DWORD):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AppShare\UseCaptureBlt=1

Additionally, depending on the display resolution you may need to specify "Best Image" for "Sharing Optimization" to avoid using a scaled capture with the display which ignores the registry setting.

Issues with the Audiocast and Recording dialogs display in LotusLive Engage Meetings for a 1024 x 768 resolution display (53941)

Dialog boxes will open left aligned and when the presentation area is made wider, the dialog boxes will remain in the same left aligned position. Since Internet Explorer does not support the max-width property, the width of the dialog boxes in Internet Explorer will be equal to the width of presentation area. This means that the wider you make presentation area, the wider the dialogs will be.

Workaround
Use a higher resolution and maximize the browser window.

    Error on Step 5 of 8 (49070)

The following issue only applies to Unyte Events and not to Lotuslive Events.
Currently Unyte Events supports events duration of up to 23 hours. For example, a start time of 9am and an end time of 8am indicates that the event will end at 8am the following day.
However if the you create an Event and select the same end time as the start time (i.e. 9am start time and 9am end time), when you proceed to Step 5 of 8 (Registration preview) the application displays the following error: "A problem has occurred while attempting to process your request.".

    Workaround
    Create a new Event

    Error on Step 5 of 8 (55134)

The following issue only applies to Unyte Events and not to Lotuslive Events.
When creating an Event, if you select a date and time for the Event that is in the past, then go back and correct your choice to indicate a future date, when you proceed to Step 5 of 8 (Registration preview) the application displays the following error: "A problem has occurred while attempting to process your request".
This happened because the validation failed the first time when the initial date and time was in the past even though you later selected a valid date.

    Workaround
Create a new Event
