You can set an alert that will notify you when a contact becomes available.

You can also use this procedure to disable an alert before the contact becomes available.
To set an alert:
- Use one of these methods to find a name in your Contact List:
Choose the Contact Options action.
Choose the Alert Me action.
- Begin typing the first letters of the contact's name directly on the Contact List.
- Highlight the name in the Contact List.
