A new search icon is available regardless of where you are on the page. Open the search panel to search. Or use the panel to go back to pages you've previously visited.
Once you start typing, search goes to work searching all content, including people, and displays the search results in the search panel. Don't wish to search all content? You can narrow your search to just the area you're in. Having just two choices – All Content or just the current application area – makes scoping your search fast and simple.
When you're in Files, the search scope Files Belonging To...
has been removed. Instead, just begin typing the letters of a person's name in the search field, and then select the person's name.
The new search panel gets even better. Did you know you can see all the pages you've visited in Connections Cloud? Before you search anything, the panel displays the previous 500 pages you've visited in chronological order. This feature is especially helpful when someone gives you a link to a page and later you'd like to go back to that page but can't remember where it is.
Type-ahead in the search field immediately brings you pages you have viewed before, making it easy to get back to content you know exists. When you want to discover new content, just hit enter and navigate to broader set of results.
