Best Practice Makes Perfect

A collaboration with Domino developers about how to do it and how to get it right in Domino

I'm on the team working to improve DXL. Our goal is to make it round-trippable as has been occasionally requested by developers, but it's a big job.  So, we're trying to figure out what part of that we should attempt for version 8.5.1.

NOTE: As usual, this does not constitute a promise on IBM's part to provide any specific functionality in any specific version.

Please chime in with your prioritized list of the top five or so specific DXL issues. An explanation of how those fixes would affect you/what you would be able to do that you can't now, would be welcome also.

Also, please comment on what full fidelity means to you. Is it sufficient if the design element or document is identical in terms of function and appearance, or do you need it to be identical bit for bit (except for the timestamps and signatures, of course), and why?

Thanks.
