Tech Note: When opened in a new window, multiple page composite applications that use the default navigator have display issues

No abstract provided.
Version: Lotus Expeditor 6.2.1 & Lotus Notes 8.5.1
Platform: ALL
Fixed in version:

Problem abstract: Display issues for mult-page composite application opened in a new window that include the default navigator

Details:
When a multi-page composite application is created and used the default composite application navigator there are display issues when you use the new showApplicationInNewWindow API or right click the tab in Notes and choose 'Open In New Window'. The application will open in a new window as expected however, the navigator that is displayed on the left side shelf within the application will also appear in the left side shelf back in the main window as well. This is due to the way side a side shelf view handles activities and has not yet been addressed. Changing pages in either of the displayed navigators will switch the application pages in the new window. The user will be in a confusing state if they do this.

Resolving the Problem:
There is currently no work around for this issue. If you do not use the default composite application navigator in your application you will not see this problem
