Users of our DDM system are receiving a Document Manager error:
Unexpected error from server.
Error code 91
Object variable not set
This error only occurs from documents that they have saved in DDM from their Notes mail using the "Move to Document Manager" action (ODMA). When you go back in to edit the document, either through Notes, ODMA or web client and try to check in a new version (or replace current version) with changes, this error appears. We have seen it with both MS Word and Excel attachments.
If you have any insight on this issue, please respond with your thoughts / comments / ideas / suggestions. We can't find anything similar to this in the discussion forum or online Lotus support. Will be looking to enter a PMR very soon on this issue as it is a major issue for our users.
The only workaround we have found to this issue is to have users save an attachment to their desktop and then check in that document that is locally saved. This will not cause an error with future saving / checking in of the document.
