I want to migrate the domino.doc database from one server to another server. So I copied the database (LotusNotesDatabases.nsf) from old server to new server. But when i try to access the file cabinate document in the LotusNotesDatabases.nsf database in the new server, it is opening the documents in the old server, i mean pointing to old server.
I came to now that i need to copy two more database (domdoc\ACAL-6EAGW9.nsf and domdoc\ACAL-6EAGW8.nsf) and need to change server name in the library administration.
But still not able to open the documents for check out and check in.
The reason i found is that at most of the cases it is pointing to old server and most of the server related fields are populated with old server name.
Some i changed manually for filecabinate documents. But some are populating in dialog boxes and i am not able to find how they are populating and not able to set manually.
I suppose these are populated automatically when it (like file cabinates) is created newly.
So can any one suggest me what i am doing is the right way or do i need to create file cabinates and related databases newly which will populate the server details with new server and the copy the documents from old to new server?
or is there any other way...your help is most appretiated...Thanks...
