This is an interesting and usefull post. Its great to see that IBM seem to recognise that DDM and Quickr fulfill different Document Management requirements, and this posting sums the differences up well.
From this can we take it that DDM will continue to be a "current" IBM offering, with new features and functionality in the pipeline, the reason I ask is that there have been noises about DDM enterning "maintainance mode".
If it is the case that DDM will continue to be a current product then I have a number of potential customers who will be very pleased.. and will make some DDM software purchases !!
Jelan, thanks I will be putting an email together with some questions/thoughts, and thank you for the post as it will help a lot that IBM are not looking to replace DDM qith Quickr (Integration is great as I think there is often a place for both in an organisation).
