How is the user opeining the document, through the Notes cleint, Browser or using the ODMA interface (ie. through the application itself)? Also, is it all documents?
You say thta if the doc (is it a Word documents?) is saved to the desktop, you also get the problem if you try to open it directly. Could there be an autorun macro causing the problem?
