I check-out an existing word document edit it. I check it in as a new version (either replacing the existing version or not).
The document profile increments the version number (from 2 to 3 for example) but the attached word file is not replaced with the new one. The one I have just tried to check-in is completely lost. If I check in the log it tells me that the temporary file cannot be located and other similar messages.
Unfortunately the client site is in another city so investigation is a bit tricky. Does this ring any bells?
It may be that this only happens with documents created using Domino.Doc's import feature (but cannot be 100% certain). It happens on some (but not all) clients with Win 95 and 98, and I'm told also on at least one NT client. The server is DomDoc 3.1 on iSeries. MS Word 97. Dom doc client is 3.5 with FP2.
