You can check the content of the group cache by opening the cabinet's binder database using a Notes client, switching to the (hidden) view '(GroupMembersCache)'.
Each invited group name is a category and the members document will be below that category. You should be able to right-click the document and check the 'members' field.
It's worth checking because I don't think the UpdateGroupCache process reports failures, so it may not have worked properly.
