Using XML response from Ajax call in Lotus Domino Web applications

1) Hopefully You have implemented some kind of back-end logging for Your script: Log that the string that contains Your XML result acutally has all info before transmitting back to the caller.

2) If the result string has some special/international characters, then You need to make sure that the result is transfered in the right character set: Print |Content-Type:text/xml; charset=UTF-8|

3) If the resultstring contains a single apostrophe ('), then the JavaScript that handles the result might consider all information after the apostrophe to be null and void... I'm not sure since I haven't tested this and has not experienced this behaviour.

4) How much info are there in the resultstring? It might be a memory problem on the clientside...?

Other than this - I don't know since I haven't experienced information loss that wasn't caused by incorrect handling of the agent or the Javascript...
