This article covers new & updated shortcut
key bindings in IBM Lotus Domino Designer 8.5. These updates were needed
in order to have consistent behavior in Domino Designer & Eclipse contexts.

|Cycle through open eclipse perspectives.
When we launch Domino Designer 8.5, the window which we see is known as
"Workbench" window in eclipse terminology.
A Workbench window offers one or more perspectives. A perspective contains
editors and views.
By default, Domino Designer 8.5 displays domino designer perspective. Control
+ F8 / Control + Shift + F8 shortcut key enables user to cycle through
, Domino Designer & Java as available perspectives.

|Cycle through open panels.
Panel refers to set of open views & editors. This shortcut key enables
user to cycle through open views & editors.
A view is a visual component within the Workbench. It is typically used
to navigate a list or hierarchy of information, or display properties for
the active editor.
Modifications made in a view are saved immediately. In Domino Designer
perspective by default we have Applications view, Properties view, Events
Problems view, Data view & Control view.
An editor is also a visual component within the Workbench. It is typically
used to edit or browse a resource. The visual presentation might be text
or a diagram.
Typically, editors are launched by clicking on a design element (resource)
in a view. Modifications made in an editor follow an open-save-close life
Depending on the design element that is being edited the appropriate editor
is displayed in the editor area. Editor area is typically the center area.
The name of the design elements appears in the tab of the editor. An asterisk
(*) appearing at the left side of the tab indicates that the editor has
