Let's look at the XML that defines an XPage.
Notice that the sample XPage has Design
tabs at the bottom of the edit area. You have been working in design mode. Click the Source
tab to see what the page looks like in XML.
This XML markup is called XSP
and is processed on the Domino
® server through the JavaServer Faces (JSF) technology. Notice that the root component on an XPage is view
due to JavaServer Faces (JSF) processing requirements. Consequently the tag name for the XPages View
control is viewPanel
You can edit an XPage in the XML source. This can be useful and quick, but naturally you must be cautious. You can now go back to the Design
