When you and other editors are finished working together on a draft, save the file as a published version. Both the owner and editors of a document can publish a version. Make sure you also share the file with the people you want to read it.
Tip: Publishing a version is also a good way to preserve the changes at a stage of the editing process, prior to resuming the next round of changes in a new draft.
From an open draft document for which you are the owner or an editor, tap the Tools icon and then tap Publish Version.
Note: For each new version published, notifications are sent to people who are following the file.
