|If IBM® File Viewer is not running on IBM Connections nodes, FILES_CONTENT_DIR, which is the WebSphere® Application Server variable that indicates where Connections stores its files, must be accessible to the File Viewer.
Get the value of FILES_CONTENT_DIR
Parent topic: Pre-installation tasks
- Log in to the Deployment Manager Integration Solutions Console.
- Click Environment -> WebSphere variables.
- Locate FILES_CONTENT_DIR.
Make sure the FILES_CONTENT_DIR
directory is accessible from the File Viewer node. If FILES_CONTENT_DIR
is a directory on a Linux
™ NFS server, see Configuring the NFS Client (Windows, Linux)
to mount the directory. If FILES_CONTENT_DIR
is a Windows
™ shared directory, use a command similar to mount -t cifs //[host_name]/[FILES_CONTENT_DIR] -o username=[username],password=[password] /[local_path]
to mount the directory from File Viewer node.
