When enabled, this option causes all mail Send To commands in Microsoft®
Office applications to start IBM®
mail and send the file as an attachment in a mail memo.
This option appears if you have Microsoft Office 97, or certain other Microsoft applications such as Visual Basic installed. It is not necessary for later releases of Microsoft Office. Also note that in some cases enhanced MAPI.DLL files need to be installed as well; this can be accomplished by installing MS Outlook or MS messenger.
- Click File > Preferences; Macintosh OS X users, click Lotus Notes > Preferences.
- Click Basic Notes Client Configuration.
- Under Additional options, select Enable MS Office 97 SendTo to Notes.
- Click OK.
- Close Lotus Notes and restart your system.
